Day One (Friday, October 13, 2000)
San Francisco, CA (5:00 am, PDT)
Weather: 50º F (cold and rainy)
"New Horizons"

I'm up and out of bed, still completely exhausted after putting a few finishing touches on my Belldandy costume.  Some finishing touches... :p  I wasn't completely finished with the trimmings of the costume.  That's the hard about about the whole thing there.  I was only ticked off for that, but also for the fact that I still had a few things to pack.  So, what else is new?
Mom helped me pack a few things for the con.  She's a real sweetheart.  Up to this day, I'm still thankful on how she helped me. :)
We waited for the shuttle bus (which was supposed to come at 6:00 am exactly).  It was 15 minutes late. :p  Mom told me to call the shuttle service, and there was no answer.  When the shuttle showed up, the guy came out of the van and placed my luggage in the trunk.  As I stepped into the van, I noticed that there were three people in there.  I'm all, "oh, hello."
As we drove off, tears started rolling down my cheeks.  I guess because of the fact that I'm traveling on a flight by myself and I was afraid of the fact that I wouldn't come out of this alive.  As I stated in my AX 2000 report, I have a huge fear of flying.  Call me childish, but it's true.  Once we arrived at San Francisco International Airport, the driver asked us, what airline.  The people in front said, "TWA".  I said, "United", and the two people in back said, "Alaska Airlines".  I was the last person to be dropped off.  Man, was traffic crazy there... especially if there's construction underway. :p
When I got in line, it was huge.  No biggie.  I was about an hour and a half early for my flight anyway.  The line might've been long, but it was a short wait.  When I went up to the front desk I said, "Hi.  Yes, I bought a ticket for Flight #1718 and I was told that my flight number was changed.  Is this true?"  He checked the computer and said, "Yes, you're on Flight #1258."  He gave me my boarding pass and told me to head over the gate.
Okay, last time I was foolish to have my phone charger in my pocket when I was at the checkpoint.  So, I placed them in my bags.  When I placed my stuff on the conveyer belt, my stuff came thrown back at me.  I was like, "what the hell?  Don't tell me I'm carrying something bad."  The guy asks his partner, "why did you put the conveyer belt in reverse?"  She's all, "oops", and she sets it back to normal.  The guy talked to me and said, "uh... she's on medication."  ... Okay... that's... a good explanation...
Well, my flight was delayed.  Yep, that's the way it is in San Francisco. :p  Flights are overbooked out here. :p  About an hour or so after take off, the flight attendant gave me a box with my name written on it.  The funny part about it was, I was the only one they gave a box to.  I'm all, "what's this for?"  She's all, "you made a special order?"  I'm all, "I did?"  She asked me, "is your name Puente?"  I said, "yeah", she giggles and says, "well, then this is for you."  I'm like, "Uh... thank you."  As I read the label on the box, it stated that it was a vegetarian meal.  I completely forgot that I when I bought my, I put "vegetarian" for my meal preference.  After my meal, started listening to some music they provided.  As our plane landed about 45 minutes later, I was listening to "Motownphilly".  Okay, so the song is 10 years old.  Big deal.  They don't make music like they used to, you know.
As I entered the gate, I didn't see Zoey or Ambre anywhere.  I waited for about 2 minutes or so.  I figured they went to the bathroom or something.  I went into the restroom, but I didn't see them in there, so I said to myself, "maybe they're in the parking lot area or the arrival area."  I figured that I should get my bags and meet them in the parking lot.  Okay... just one problem.  It was my very first time in Denver, so... I didn't know where the terminal was. :(  Again I said to myself, "relax.  There are people who work here.  Just ask them."  They told me to take the tram to the terminal.  A tram?  The last time I took a tram was when my family and I went to Las Vegas, but that's about it.  Anyway, I took the tram and instead of getting off at the terminal, I got off at Concourse A. :p  I was like, "oops.  Okay, I'll take another tram."  Once I made it to the terminal, I looked at the screen monitor that read "carousel 12"  As I walked towards the carousel, I saw a lady holding a sign that read "Taiki Kou", and her daughter holding a sign that read "Sailor Mars."  *laughs*  It was Zoey and Ambre.  I yelled, "Zoey!  I'm here!"  I ran towards them and hugged them both.  I gave Ambre her Senshi Mysterious T-Shirt and Zoey would pay me. :)  They asked me if I knew what airline Kathy was going on and I told them that I didn't know.  Ambre's all, "she told me the flight number, but not the airline."  I was like, "what?!  How could she do that?"  So, I took out my cellphone and called her.  Wouldn't you know it?  Her phone is turned off.  She's probably on the plane.  We figured, let's just go to the hotel and we'll call her later and pick her up.
We get to the hotel, which is a 30 minute drive from the Denver Airport and I met up with Amanda McQuillen and Dion (Pen Pen).  Shortly after that, I was reunited with my... I guess you could say he's my knight in shining armor... oh, God.  Now, I'm starting to sound all mushy here.  *yech!*  I didn't think he was the type to sneak up behind me.  Well, looks like I thought wrong.  Anyway, the hotel rooms weren't ready yet and we decided to leave our bags with the bell captain.  Mike Sui walks up to us and gives me my regular attendee badge and... get this... my staff badge.  A staff badge?!  Not to mention a bonus badge that read Sgt. Filthy.  Sgt Filthy?!  Is that all I'm worth?  Man, I should quit the group while I still have the chance.  Nah, just kidding.  Anyway, there wasn't really much to do, so I placed a call to Kathy and she picked up.  We were going to head back to the airport to pick her up, but it was too late.  She was in a shuttle bus on the way to the hotel.  I said, "We didn't pick you up because Ambre said that you gave her the flight number, but you didn't give her the airline."  And she's all, "What?!  I said, Delta.  I told her I was coming from Delta Airlines."  I turned to Ambre, grinned, and said, "Ambre... she told you she was flying on Delta Airlines."  Poor Ambre was embarrassed.  She forgot. :p Oh, well.  After I got off the phone, I hung out with Al for about a few minutes or so when my cellphone rang.  It was Kathy.  She was in the main lobby, so Al and I hitched a ride on the elevator.  She sees me, comes running at me and gives me this big bear hug and was practically leaning on me.  Because she outweighs by about 20 pounds or so, we both fell to the floor. *laughs*  You just had to be there to see it.  It was... pretty funny and at the same time kind of embarrassing.  At that point, we saw Steve and Kevin Bennett by the main entrance of the Sheraton Denver West.  He asked me what costume I would wear, and I said Belldandy. :)  We talked for a short time, and Al would pull me aside and show me the yet to be set up dealer's room, where I met Keith Burgess (VA of Akuma from Street Fighter).  Kathy calls me and tells me that they already have their hotel room.
Al and I went back to the Bell Captain to get my luggage and head up to the room and we both ran into our Tuxedo Kamen, Randy Adkins.  We went up to the third floor and... it was pretty crowded... not to mention a tad bit cramped, but who am I to complain?  I asked for this. *laughs*  Ambre dressed up in her Sailor Neptune costume while I got into my Sailor Jupiter costume.  Unfortunately I don't have a single photo of myself wearing it. *sobs*  Also, we didn't have a Sailor Mars, but I brought the costume just in case we would find someone to play the part.  I told Kathy that if we couldn't find anyone for the part, I'll gladly go back to playing that character.
The dealer's room was open so we thought we should take a look at it.  As I walked towards the back of the room, my eyes widened when I saw Scott Simpson.  This is just too good to be true!!! :)  We talked for a bit and I told him that I was a huge fan of "Oh My Goddess".  I also said that I would wear my Belldandy costume to the masquerade.  He asks me, "which one?  The red or the blue?"  I told him that'd I'd wear my blue one. :)  He tells me that he would be hosting an "Oh My Goddess" panel the next day along with the the three goddesses.  At that point, Juliet Cesario comes up to me and looks at my Sailor Jupiter costume.  She was very sweet, just like Belldandy :)  Her voice was much lower, but hey.  Not bad.  Not bad at all. :)  We talked about "Oh My Goddess" and "Shinesman", and what we liked and didn't like about conventions and stuff.
After the quick chat, I walked around the dealer's room and this girl comes up to me and says, "I love your costume."  I thanked the girl and she said, "I was gonna be Sailor Mars, but my mom couldn't make the costume in time."  I was like, "Really?  I have a Sailor Mars costume.  Would you like to be in our skit?  Hey, if my Mars costume fits you, you can be our Sailor Mars."  I grabbed her and went straight to Kathy and said, "Hey, Kathy!  Great news!  I found our Sailor Mars!" Kathy jumped at the opportunity and we invited her to come into our hotel room.  Instead of taking the elevator as usual, we took the stairs.  Why not?  The dealer's room was on the 2nd floor and our room was on the 3rd.  I asked the girl to try my costume on; it fits her perfectly. :)  Before we knew it, Kathy recruited a Sailor Moon and a Rubeus [and unfortunately, I don't remember their names :( ].  Now comes the question.  Where do we rehearse?  I said lets practice outside on the balcony.  I opened the door only to slam it shut two seconds later after feeling the cold breeze coming in.  We found an unoccupied room on the third floor and started rehearsal.
Kathy then tells me that we're going to rehearse the dance to "La Soldier".  I was a little edgy on that because Kathy expected the newbies to learn the whole dance in one day, which in my opinion is impossible.  She asked Randy to help the new people with the dance.  Well, during the hour and a half rehearsal time, we had a heck of a time getting these girls to cooperate and settle down... especially Amanda.  As soon as Kathy started counting in Japanese, the girls quieted down.  She then says, "don't make me count to ten.  Don't you DARE make me count to ten."  I pulled Kathy aside and said, "you know what?  I think it's impossible to learn this dance in less than 24 hours.  Why don't we do the skit we did back at this years' Fanime Con?  I have the video tape on how the dance steps are and everything.  All they have to do is watch."  Kathy was reluctant to do so because that would mean that we would have to look for a Sailor Saturn.  I said, "we don't need one.  Ask Ambre.  She has the Mugen Gakuen uniform.  As for my long wig, just cut it.  I need to get a new one anyway."  Kathy gave in and decided to teach the new girls the skit.  Okay, the skit would consist of these characters:

Kathy: Taiki Kou
Ambre: Hotaru Tomoe
Claudine: Sailor Jupiter
Lauren: Sailor Mars
Zoey: Zoicite (Announcer)
???: Super Sailor Moon
???: Rubeus

After rehearsal, I decided to get back into my normal clothes since Al was planning on taking me out to dinner.  He took me out to a place called Chad's Union Street Cafe.  When I walked in, it was dark, but very lively. :)  There were these miniature eucalyptus trees (that's my definition of them) with these white Christmas lights.  I thought it was a great atmosphere... not to mention that it was a 21 and over restaurant.  Let's see, I ordered a deep dish pizza and a large lemonade.  About 5 minutes later, the waitress comes with my lemonade.  Oh... my... God.  I asked for a large lemonade.  I didn't think a large lemonade was practically a punch bowl.  I said, "Al, I don't think I'm going to be able to drink all of this."  He said, "trust me.  You'll need it."  I didn't drink the whole thing.  I inhaled it. *laughs*
After dinner, Al and I went back to the hotel and went into his room... and no, nothing happened.  We were making out, but that's about it.  The next thing I knew, I wasn't really feeling too well.  Al felt my forehead, and from what he told me, I ran a slight fever.  He panicked, ran into the bathroom, comes back to the bed, and places a cool wet towel on my forehead.  Five minutes later, I fell asleep.

*    *    *

I slowly opened my eyes and sat up.  My nose was stuffed up and I felt really uncomfortable.  My head was killing me.  I turned on the light and looked at my watch.  I started to panic; it was already 3 am.  I thought, "oh, my God!  Kathy and the others are probably wondering where I am."  I placed a call to our hotel room, but there was no answer.  Either that, or I dialed the wrong number.  I heard the door open and someone walked in.  I'm all, "who is it?"  It was Rob Miles.  He's all, "Oh, I'm sorry.  I didn't mean to wake you up.  Go back to sleep."  I said, "no, no, no.  I woke up before you walked through the door."  He's all, "are you okay?  You don't sound too good."  I told him that my nose was stuffed up and he said that my sinuses were acting up.  I asked, "are you sure?  A few hours ago, I ran a slight fever."  And Rob says, "you probably have altitude sickness."  Al woke up and asked me if I was feeling okay.  I wasn't, and he went into the bathroom and gave me some aspirin.
Rob and I chatted for a bit.  He asked me how my flight was and I told him that it was okay, but I wasn't too fond of taking a plane by myself.  It's never a good idea to be alone, no matter where you go.  Actually, I take that back.  There's only one place and that's the toilet, but I'm not going to get into detail about that. *laughs*  I also asked Rob how his day was on the first day of the con.  He told me that he went to a bar in Downtown Denver with the guests of honor.  I'm like, "really?  You did?"  He said, "yeah, a few of them got plastered."  *lol*  Or something like that.  I can't really remember that detail too much.
Later on, I said, "wait a minute!  I should be with Kathy and the others."  I called them again, but I didn't get a response.  Rob assured me that everything was okay.  I said, "really?  How come they haven't called me or anything?  Maybe they forgot my number."  He said, "if they haven't called you, it's because they know where you are and that you're okay."  I wasn't buying it.  I said, "well, I don't think it would hurt if I went downstairs to try to get back in."  He's all, "Oh, no, no, no.  We're not going to leave you roaming around the hotel by yourself.  Claudine, just rest here, okay?"  I finally gave in and went back to sleep.

Day Two (Saturday, October 14, 2000)
Sheraton Denver West Hotel/ Denver, CO (7:00 am, MDT)
Weather: 30º F (very cold)
"A Sudden Change of Plans/ Showtime"

Yeah, you know me.  Can I help it if I'm an early bird?  When I woke up, I noticed that Al was gone.  I figured that he was probably at the hotel restaurant.  I still wasn't finished with my costume Belldandy costume and I wasn't at all eager to wear a costume at that point.  I was still wearing the same clothes I had on the other night.
I went as is, and as soon as I was about to get a table for myself, I saw Al with Tracy Brown from B.A.A.S.  The guy was about to have me seated until I said, "I think I've found my party."
I walked towards the table and Al was so nice to treat me to breakfast.  Tracy heard about what happened the night before and asked me if I was okay?  I told her that I was, but my nose was still sort of stuffed up, and she told me that I should drink more fluids.  "You're going to be more thirsty than hungry," she said.  I said, "I am?"  She was so right; I barely ate.  I was asking for I don't know how many glasses of lemonade.
After breakfast, Al and walked around the hotel lobby for about a half hour or so.  There wasn't really much to do considering that the dealers room and the panel won't open until 10 am or so.  I told Al that I wanted to get my Belldandy costume so I could work on it.  I decided to call the room to see if anyone was awake.  There was no answer.  Al took me to my room, I knocked on the door and Zoey answers it.  I apologized to her for not telling her where I was.  She told me that there was no need to apologize.  I took my costume and notions from the room and went back to Al's room to work on them.  I was afraid of waking the others up.
Back in Al's room, I finished my Belldandy costume.  Mike Siu wakes up and sees me in the costume.  Okay, there were a few parts of the costume that I didn't finish, but I figured that it's as good as it gets.  Mike then tells me, "Every detail counts, you know.  They pay attention to every detail."  Hmph!  He should talk.  I mean, I don't see him making any costumes.  You know, it's very nice to offer advice on making a costume, but if you've never made a costume before and you're trying to give me advice or put me down, all I can say is, "shut up!"  Yeah, I will admit that I was offended when he made that comment.  I'm not going to deny that.  I mean, who wouldn't?
There still wasn't much to do and I was really tired.  I figured that I should rest for a while before I head back downstairs.

*    *    *

About an hour later, I got into my Belldandy costume and decided to go to the dealer's room.  We were there for a short time and there was this one girl who complimented me on my Belldandy costume.  She asked me if I had shown it to Juliet Cesario and Scott Simpson.  I said no, and she directed me to where they were at.
I had no idea that they were in the middle of a panel.  I simply walked into the room, only to have everyone's attention at me.  Scott seemed impressed. :)  I felt a little embarrassed because I felt as though as I disrupted the panel... well, that and everyone was laughing.  During the panel, I asked Al if he has the CD with the OMG remixes.  He said that he wanted to give the CD to them, but he didn't have it on him.  I said, "if I were you I'd go and get it.  It's now or never, Al."  I saved his seat and he came back with the CD about 2 minutes later or so.  After the panel ended, I started chatting with Juliet Cesario.  She was so surprised at how I made my costume.  She said, "That's a lot of work."  She posed with me, and Lanelle Markgraf was posing with a girl in an Urd costume for photo ops.  Later on, Scott would be in the photo.  I was so honored to have my photo taken with the OMG cast. :)  I was so thrilled that I completely forgotten about the costuming roundtable.  I looked at my watch which read 11:00 am, and said, "oh, my God!  I have to get to the costuming roundtable!"  Al quickly gave the CD to both Juliet and Scott and we hurried to the third floor.
When I entered the costuming roundtable, Senshi Mysterious was already seated at the table.  I thought to myself, "oh, my God.  I'm late."  I come in saying, "I'm so sorry I'm late and I sat at the table with Ambre, Randy, Kathy, and Beverly Jo from Beverly's Closet.  We answered questions left and right regarding our cosplay experience and costuming tips, like where to get wigs and how much to pay for them or where to get costume jewelry.  We recommended everything from second hand stores to hardware stores.  What was really funny was the fact of where our panel was.  It was right next to our hotel room.  If you notice in this picture, there's a door on the far left side.  Behind that door is our hotel room.  It was so funny and at the same time, very convenient. :)
The panel ended around noon or so and I talked to Kathy.  She told me that she was concerned about why I didn't go back to the hotel room the night before.  I told her that I had called the room more than once and no one picked up.  I had asked her if she registered our group to be in the masquerade, and she said, "yeah, we in."  Whew!  Talk about close. :)  We asked Lauren, Rubeus, and Super Sailor Moon if they would like to start rehearsal again, and they agreed.  Unfortunately, the room we practiced in the night before was occupied and we had to find another place to rehearse.  Until then, I figured that this would be a good opportunity to show the girls the Fanime Con 2000 Masquerade video tape.  We showed them the tape a few times until they got the idea.
Afterwards, Zoey and Ambre joined us.  Zoey backed out of our skit because it turns out that she had originally planned to perform with Beverly's Closet.  It was fine; she told us this before we asked her to rehearse with us.  Now, all we had to do is find another person to be our announcer.  We found a fitness room to practice in.  During rehearsal, Ambre felt a little tired or light headed.  I then said, "wait!  Stop the tape!  Stop the tape!"  Kathy stops the tape, turns to me and asked, "what's the problem?"  I said, "It's Ambre."  I  turned to Ambre and asked if she was okay, and she said, "yes, but I think I need to rest for a little bit."  Kathy then ordered everyone to take a 20 minute water break.  It wasn't until later that I found out that Ambre had not eaten anything.  I was like, "what?!  Why didn't you tell us sooner.  We would've stopped a long time ago."  Poor Ambre.  She seemed so determined to get the skit right and everything.  Zoey went upstairs to get some snacks to share.  At around... maybe 4 pm or so, we started rehearsal again, with a little warm up exercise (something we should've done a long time ago).
Later, at around 4:30 pm or so, we saw this cute little girl dressed up as Eternal Sailor Moon.  Her mom was dressed up as Sailor Tin Nyanko.  She introduced herself as Andrea Wernz, and her daughter was 3-year-old Morgan Wernz.  Kathy asked Andrea if she would help us out with our skit, and she agreed.  It was so quick and so sudden.
According to the MC, we had to be backstage at around 5:30 p.m. or so.  First I would enter my Belldandy costume for the costume contest, and then I would change into my Sailor Jupiter costume for the Senshi Mysterious skit.  We waited in line for about an hour or so.  Al asked me if I wanted something to eat and I asked him it's possible to get me a Wendy's burger, and he said yes.  Kathy receives a call on her cellphone.  It was her mom.  After she got off the phone, she started crying.  I was like, "what's wrong?  Is everything okay?"  She shakes her head and says that she was in debt.  Because she was in debt, her mom had to confiscate her car and her phone.  I was like, "what the hell?"  Out of all the times her mom had to call her, she had to do this just before we're about to go on stage. :p  Talk about no respect.
At around 7:00 p.m., the costume contest started.  I was waiting in line thinking about how close I am to the stage, and all of a sudden my nose starts to bleed.  I turned to one of the staff members and asked him if he had any tissues, and he gave me some napkins.  Afterwards, my name was announced and I went on stage as Belldandy with no problems. :)  I would then run into the girls room to change into my Sailor Jupiter costume.  I then come face to face with Chris Rose, dressed as Seiya Kou, and Kimberly Rose dressed as Princess Kakyuu.  Afterwards, Al comes back with my Wendy's burger.  I unwrapped my burger only to wrap it up again.  I couldn't even look at the burger.  It just made me sick.  I thought to myself, "what's wrong with me?  Is it the Colorado area that's making me feel this way?"  It's as though as I had morning sickness or something.  Yech!  I asked one of the NDK staffers if he could hold my stuff, and he was nice enough to put my stuff in a box for me. :)
About an hour later, our group took the stage with our Sailor Busters skit.  Well, guess what?  One of the girls forgets her line.  Somehow, I was kind of expecting that.  What can you expect with a few girls who were goofing off most of the time during rehearsal?  Oh, well.  You live and learn.  What surprised me was that no one in the audience laughed at us or made fun of us.  It seems as though as they weren't interested in how good or how bad our skit was.  All they wanted was a show.
After the masquerade, I helped Al and the other guys out with the dance.  Steve Bennett, Rob Miles, and Alex Trinidad were there. :)  I was ready and willing to play some music for the dance.  This would be my first debut as DJ Saiyan. :)  As we were setting up, there was this short anorexic looking girl who had magic marker tattoos all over her body who comes towards mixers and CDs.  That girl turned out to be Marlene.  Al told me that she tried to hit on him last year, and that he told her that he was already seeing me, so I thought, "okay, she can't do anything."  From her appearance, I thought she was disgusting, but I didn't think she was dangerous in any way.  What happened next was completely unexpected.  As Al was setting up, Marlene starts to jump on his back, and I ran up to her and yelled, "he already HAS a girlfriend, you hussy!  Now, get the hell away from him!"  I think I scared her off when I did that... I don't know for sure.  I did not want that girl near Al or the equipment at all.  Man, she knew that I was dating him, yet she had the gall to do that?  In my book, there's a word to describe someone like that, and it's called, "whore".
After we were all set, DJ Mod (Alex Trinidad) starts to play his music.  After all, he IS the person in charge of SNM Productions. :)  Afterwards, DJ R2K (Rob Miles) would play his music, which would lead into the "Kiss Steve Bennett" contest.  I don't remember for sure what the prize was; I think it was the 'I Slept With Steve Bennett' T-Shirt and the Vitamin D CD.  Anyway, all I knew was whoever could kiss Steve the best, would get the prize.  There was this one girl in particular who went up to Steve, straddles herself around him and starts kissing and licking him.  It was just too funny.  I go to Alex and whispered, "choose her!  Choose her!"  In the end, the guys chose her and she got the prize.  Zoey would come in second.  I don't think any guy could resist the charm of Galaxia, which is exactly who Zoey was dressed as. *laughs*
After the contest, DJ Socket (Al) would play his music.  I started getting bored because I haven't had a chance to play music at all.  About an hour later, I took control of the mixers.  Unfortunately, the crowd became smaller before I took the stage, so I didn't have much of an audience.  So much for my debut. :(  There wasn't much to do except to go to the hotel room and get some sleep.  Well, lights out.

Day Three (Sunday, October 15, 2000)
Sheraton Denver West Hotel/ Denver, CO (7:00 am, MDT)
Weather: 30º F (very cold)
"Until Next Year"

When I woke up, I was so eager to hit the dealer's room and get some goodies.  It's so ironic.  Because of the rehearsal and the cosplaying experience that I usually encounter, I never have time to purchase anything in the dealer's room until the last day of the convention.  I got into my normal clothes and I wrote a note telling the other where I was and if they needed to get a hold of me, they can call me on my cellphone.  Before going to the dealer's room (knowing that it's closed at 7 am), I took the elevator to Al's room and asked him if I could pick up a few of my things from that I left in his room.  For some odd reason, I started feeling really tired and Al was nice enough to let me sleep in his room for about an hour or so.
Afterwards, Al and I would head into the lobby and go into the dealer's room for a little while.  There wasn't really much to choose from.  I did manage to purchase the perfect collection of the You're Under Arrest" series subtitled, AND given to me at a discount price. :)  I noticed that there was another panel going on.  Juliet Cesario, Scott Simpson, Lanelle Markgraf, Pamela Weidner, Scott Houle, Taliesen Jaffe, and Matt Greenfield would be there.  The panel was really exciting.  So much information to know on how to dub anime. :)  What really annoyed me throughout the panel was the fact that my cellphone kept ringing.  Man, talk about bad timing. :p  Oh, well.  Can't be helped.  Another thing during the panel was, I felt a very unusual aura around Taliesen.  I turn to Al and I said in a happy tone, "I think that guy is a witch.  Hon, I bet you anything that he's a witch."
After the panel, the voice-actors from "Oh My Goddess" were signing autographs to their fans.  I took into consideration that the regular attendees should go first, so I waited.  I chatted with Taliesen and asked him if he was a witch.  He said, no, but he does devote himself to a Pagan religion.  Okay, but you have to admit that I was close. *laughs*  At least I had the right idea.
What happened next was unexpected.  A guy comes up to me and asks for a photo op, which I found very unusual considering that I wasn't in costume.  I said, "I'm not in costume", and he says, "You know, it's kind of hard to tell."  I don't know whether to take that response as a insult or a compliment... not even up to this day.  I shrugged and went along with the idea.
The crowd became smaller, and I figured that I can get the autographs of the three goddesses, as well as Keiichi.  Juliet asked me if I won the costume contest.  I told her no, and she said that both she and Scott stayed for a short time and she thought that I should've won.  Oh, well, no biggie. :)  I still had fun.  I told them that I would come back to Nan Desu Kan again.
After the autograph session, I told Scott that I created a music video, but I forgot to bring it with me.  I asked him if I could send it to him, and he told me that because he and Juliet were looking for a new place to live, he suggested that it would be best if I sent it to his job.  I said, "okay, no problem."  After the chat, I said goodbye to him and we both hugged.  Wow!  Scott Simpson actually hugged me. :) *in Indian Accent*  Oh, my Ghandi goodness.  I am not worthy!  Ayyyyyyyyyye! *laughs*
Zoey, Ambre, Randy, and Kathy were nice enough to bring my things to the Bell Captain, and again, I apologize for not getting my stuff out of the room myself.  There wasn't really much to do except get a few photo ops with the whole group, which consisted of the Senshi Mysterious members, with Andrea Wernz and her daughter Morgan, along with Chris and Kimberely Rose.
Well, let's see.  I can't go into the dealer's room because it was closed, so I decided to walk around the lobby with Al.  Marlene happens to be following us, which doesn't please me at all.  I go to Al and I said, "I can't leave you alone for not even 1 minute now, can I?"  Miss Thang has some nerve trying to hit on my boyfriend after the way I yelled at her the other night.  Man, she just doesn't give up.  Is she asking for trouble or what?  Fortunately for her, I'm not the type of person to turn violent.
Hours went by and by the time it was 4 p.m., I left the Sheraton Denver West for the Denver International Airport, or should I say the Dead Moon Circus.  Now, that I look at it, yeah, it does look like a circus tent.  Zoey told me that she would find a place to park and Ambre would escort me to the Gate.  I was a little worried considering that I arrived at the airport a little late.  There was no line, and I managed to check in my one and only bag at the bag check in.  The lady told me to take the tram to Concourse B and my plane would be at Gate B-39.
Ambre and I waited for the tram which took about oh... 2 minutes.  Don't you just love the circus music they play to inform you that a tram is headed your way?  *laughs*  It was just too funny.  After getting off the tram, I walked by a few of the airport's gift shops, which reminded me that I should go and get something for my family.  I bought a Colorado T-Shirt for my brother and a Colorado keychain for my parents.  As soon as I reach the gate, Zoey was there... not to mention that I was just in time. :)  The flight attendant announced that Flight #907 was boarding.  Before I left the gate, Zoey and Ambre took a photo of me boarding my plane.  I said my goodbye and they wished me a safe trip home.
Shortly we were ready for takeoff.  Unfortunately, my nose started acting up again.  It was bleeding more than before.  I asked the flight attendant if she had any tissues, and she gave me a few napkins.  As I was on the plane, I noticed that they had TVs available for each passenger.  I was like, "Wow!"  There wasn't really much to watch, except "Doug".  I've liked that show ever since I was in Junior High.  It just never gets old for me.  *laughs*
When we were on cruise control, the flight attendants gave us our meals. :)  Now, the last time I had airplane food was the breakfast they served me the last time.  Otherwise, I've never had airplane food period.  When I received my tray, I was in shock.  It was soooo small.  On the other hand, I wasn't really all that hungry, so that was just about right for me.  In that meal was marinated chicken, a side salad, rice pilaf, and shortbread.  Who says airplane food tastes terrible?  I don't... but then again, that was my first time, so maybe I should hold my tongue until the next time.
An hour later, my plane lands in SFO at Gate 81.  My parents weren't home, so I figured that as soon as I get bags, I would take the bus home.  As I headed towards the baggage claim area, I started feeling really dizzy.  I couldn't see straight, nor walk straight, and I slipped to the side.  Could it be that I was adjusting to the San Francisco air?  Is that why I felt that way?  Anyway, a lady saw me and grabbed me before I hit the floor.  She asked me if I was okay.  I nodded, said yes, and kept going.  Now, that I look back at that, I think that was stupid of me.  I should've stayed right where I was, and instead I kept going.  I took the escalator to the baggage claim area, only to find out that the bags would be in another terminal. :p  A police officer was nice enough to escort me to the correct terminal, and my bags were already on the carousel.
I went outside to wait for the SamTrans bus to Colma BART.  According the security officer, there were no SamTrans buses running on Sunday nights after 7 p.m. :p  Oh, what to do, what to do?  A complete stranger approaches me and asks me how to get to the Colma BART station, and I told him that the SamTrans buses were no longer running.  He and I hitched a ride on the cab and he paid the entire fair.  I was like, "are you sure?"  He's all, "positive.  My job is taking care of all of my accomodations", and I said, "oh, okay."
After taking BART and MUNI, I was home before I knew it.  My brother had his girlfriend Lonnie, and his buddy Kevin over.  I said "I'm home", and he acted as though as I didn't exist.  Well, what can you expect out of my brother.  It's so typical of him.  I called Al and Zoey to tell them that I came home safely.  Al told me that Marlene was worried that I was watching her during closing ceremonies after I confronted her twice.  He could've been lying, but I don't know.  I will say this.  Nan Desu Kan was an unforgettable experience for me; it was an all-time high. :)

Aftermath

After Nan Desu Kan, Andrea, Chris, and Kimberly joined our group for about 1 month or so.  I guess you could say that their membership didn't last too long.  In December of 2000, Kathy announced that after Fanime Con 2001, that I would become the next president of Senshi Mysterious.  As for the tape I was supposed to send to Juliet Cesario and Scott Simpson, I could never find the tape, so I never sent them anything. :(  Sorry, you two.
